This September, the Prostate Cancer Foundation of South Africa needs you to step up, volunteer your top lip, and grow the most astounding and magnificent moustache that the laws of nature allow!

1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetimes, but early detection and treatment can make all the difference. By growing a fearsome Mo’, and making yourself an icon of undaunted manliness, you can help raise awareness and support for the PCF and their fight against prostate cancer.

Men will respect you, women will adore you, children will idolize you, dogs and cats will hunt small animals and bring them to you, and the PCF will thank you. It’s time to do your duty, help your brothers and MObilize against prostate cancer!

SEND MO’ MONEY!

GROW YOUR MO’ is all about creating awareness and supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation. All money generated by the campaign will go to the PCF, but the most straightforward way to contribute is by making a donation. We had considered trying to make donating as easy as growing a moustache, but sneaking into people’s houses while they’re asleep and taking a little money every night for about a month was deemed impractical. Also, apparently it’s illegal (who would have known?). Instead, GROW YOUR MO’ has set up several alternatives that you should find nearly as easy.

SMS – Simply send an SMS to 40026. Your message will cost R 20.00 which will be donated to the PCF (less network revenue collection fees).

MMS - Send a picture of your Mo’ by MMS to mo@growyourmo.co.za with your name, to enter the Best Mo’ on Show competition. Your entry MMS’s costs R 20.00 which will be donated to the PCF (less network revenue collection fees).

Once entered and registered on the site, you’ll be able to vote for your favourite Mo’s and stand a chance of becoming either the weekly Man of the MOment or the MASTER OF THE MO’ Grand Prize Winner.
